Efficient Method to Generate Mouse Monoclonal Dimeric IgA

New publication in the European Journal of Immunology by the Rollenske lab

IgA is the main antibody found on mammalian mucosal surfaces. In order to study mucosal antibody responses at the single cell level, the team of Prof Tim Rollenske developed a simple, scalable, and efficient method to generate and purify monoclonal mouse dimeric IgA from single B cell transcripts using HEK-293F cells. This method published in the European Journal of Immunology enables the generation of large sets of monoclonal IgA antibodies to study mucosal antibody responses in more detail with potential applications in immunology research, vaccine development, and understanding mucosal immunity.
