Sophie Burkhalter from the Rollenske lab received a "Technical Exchange" Travel Grant from the Bonn Cluster of Excellence ImmunoSensation2 to conduct a two-week research stay in the Laboratory of Microbial Immunochemistry and Vaccines at the Hirszfeld Institute in Wrocław, Poland.
During her visit in the group of Prof. Jolanta Łukasiewicz, Sophie focused on learning techniques for the purification and modification of bacterial glycans, gaining valuable insights for her ongoing research.
