Dr. Jian Li (from our institute) and Prof. Qi Mei from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China received COVID-19-related funding by the Sino-German Center for Research Promotion (SGC). The SGC was established as a joint venture by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
Aim of the joint research project between Bonn and Wuhan is the metabolic characterization of SARS-CoV-2 patients from different clinical status (severe/critical, lethal, discharged and re-positive).
