On July 7–8, 2025, the Institute of Molecular Medicine and Experimental Immunology (IMMEI) hosted the MaternImmune: Connecting Immunology and Maternal Health symposium in Bonn.
The event brought together clinical and scientific experts from the University Hospital Bonn and a visiting delegation from the Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China.

Over two days, participants engaged in scientific presentations, tours of clinical and research facilities, and a roundtable discussion on collaborative approaches in maternal health and immunology.
